The sad demise of a once-great city continues unabated...

Driving a van full of gear into midtown Manhattan just as the cops were closing the streets for the ball drop was always a challenge (i.e. a major pain in the ass), but we had some fun New Years' Eve gigs here for several years in a row.  This headline is misleading, however: it was not Covid that "shuttered" this place.  It was idiotic Covid "lockdowns."
